September 1, 2010 - Drugs Discovered At Traffic Stop
A man and woman face drug charges following a vehicle stop in the downtown area Wednesday afternoon. The Owen Sound Police Drug Unit and Heat Unit stopped a vehicle to investigate the driver who was believed to be breaching a condition of her bail. At that time officers found approximately $1100.00 worth of marihuana that was packaged for sale.

Officers from the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Unit, Criminal Investigation Branch, and CORE Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a house on the city’s west side yesterday morning.
